“`Srinagar,Sep 18 :The residents of Nopora Ganderpora Safa Kadal staged protest against installation of Smart Meters on Monday afternoon.
The protestors, which mostly consisted of women, blocked the road in the afternoon and were reluctant to let anyone pass through the Said road.
Women protestors told News Agency that “We are very poor people,there is a sick persons in our houses mostly oxygen patients how can we effort the more electricity bill, we continued our protest till we get justice, Protestor women’s Said.
The roads in adjacent areas including of Noorbagh and sakidafar, witnessed heavy flow of traffic as protesters were reluctant to let anyone pass through Ganderpora Safakadal.–(BAN)
